Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Water and Wastewater Project Engineer for its Industrial Environmental team. The role focuses on applying diversified engineering principles to a broad set of assignments and supervising engineers/technicians.

You will manage design tasks, prepare reports, and coordinate with clients. You will lead projects to ensure on-time delivery within budget while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 8+ years of relevant environmental or civil engineering experience in water/wastewater design; industrial market preferred.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proficiency with engineering tools, software, and methodologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare planning and design documents in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Coordinate staff and supervise lower-level engineers and technicians.
• Perform design calculations, cost estimates, and economic analyses of alternatives.
• Develop project scope, schedule, budgets, and progress reports.
• Coordinate projects with Olsson teams, clients, and maintain project records.
