Job summary

Olsson is seeking an experienced water and sewer modeling engineer to perform hydraulic modeling and master planning from conception to completion. You will perform process design calculations, population projections, assist with reports, and attend client meetings.

As an Engineer for the Water/Wastewater team, you will design using CAD/modeling software, perform technical analysis, prepare construction documents, and support projects across water, wastewater, and treatment facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
10+ years of experience with water and sewer modeling software such as InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, InfoWater Pro and/or WaterCAD.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Provides high-level project design and review of documents and design quality for complex projects.
Serves as a technical specialist applying advanced engineering concepts to solve complex problems.
Performs QA/QC to ensure designs meet quality standards and objectives.
Conducts research in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
Mentors junior staff and directs design approaches to fulfill project requirements.
Builds and maintains strong client relationships and ensures project success.
