Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Water/Wastewater Engineer in a hybrid role. You will apply diversified engineering principles to a broad range of assignments including wastewater and water treatment projects, and independently decide engineering complexities for small projects.

Key tasks include design, cost estimates, and documentation, with collaboration across project managers and teams to meet objectives. Requires PE license and 6+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; must be a registered PE.
• 6+ years of engineering industry experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed engineering tasks such as project design, cost estimates, and design calculations.
• Prepare project documents and adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Independently perform complex assignments with new techniques.
• Coordinate with project managers on design execution and report progress.
• Attend client meetings.
• May supervise and review work of less experienced staff.
• Coordinate with Olsson technical teams, staff, and clients.
