Job summary

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer focused on water and wastewater project design for our Miramar Beach, FL office.

The role involves preparing specifications, supporting project scope and budget, and providing technical leadership on conventional projects. A Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and Florida PE are required, with at least five years in water/wastewater design and proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (accredited university).
• PE registration in Florida required.
• Minimum of 5 years in engineering; water/wastewater design experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation for project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepares specifications, documents, and drawings to produce project deliverables.
• Assist in project scope and budget development and design activities.
• Supports PM providing technical leadership on conventional projects.
• Assists in specialized project design.
• Active in client communication pertaining to assignments or meetings.
• Performs other duties as requested.
