Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Water and Wastewater Project and Client Account Manager to join our New England Water Team. The role focuses on winning new business, managing client relationships, and leading projects through delivery.

The successful candidate will lead multi-disciplinary water/wastewater initiatives, build trusted client partnerships, and advance the portfolio with a strategic approach to projects and proposals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a consulting engineering role with project management responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional registration (PE) is highly desirable and demonstrates licensure in engineering.
• Demonstrated business development and project leadership in water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead major proposals and client/project capture plans; participate in scoping and presentations.
• Manage projects, present at technical conferences, and engage in technical committees.
• Mentor staff and grow the team and workload.
• Build strong relationships with clients, teaming partners, and industry groups.
• Ensure client satisfaction and proactively address service issues with project delivery teams.
• Provide input on business development priorities, budgets, and expenditures for the water team.
