Job summary

ewi Recruitment seeks an Associate Vice President – Water/Wastewater to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of water, wastewater, and water resources projects. This senior role oversees technical delivery, client relationships, business development, and team performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or water resources engineering.
Professional engineering licence or equivalent accreditation.
Substantial experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of treatment systems, collection and distribution networks, pumping systems, water resources, asset management, and relevant permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex water and wastewater programmes.
Review technical approaches, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulations.
Support development of project and programme strategies; manage key client relationships.
Identify market opportunities; contribute to proposals, fee development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
Mentor and develop technical and project management staff; support resource planning; monitor financial performance; foster cross-disciplinary collaboration.
