Job summary

You will lead strategic planning, project delivery, and business development, mentoring staff and coordinating with clients and regulators. The role requires 10+ years in design, management, and business development, with at least 6 years in water/wastewater, and a CA-PE (or eligibility within 6 months).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in design, management, and business development.
• 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in California or eligible within 6 months.
• Proven PM and leadership experience directing teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop a strategic growth plan for water/wastewater services.
• Lead service-specific proposals with technical depth and innovation.
• Stay current with industry trends to enhance offerings and delivery.
• Uphold QA/QC standards across design and reporting outputs.
• Represent clients and firm in meetings with governmental agencies.
• Lead business development and build client/partner relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure profitable project delivery.
• Supervise engineers and staff; develop work plans and budgets.
• Monitor metrics like utilization, backlog, and AR; track milestones.
• Coordinate multi-project schedules and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Grow, mentor, and train staff.
