B is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to pursue and plan water and wastewater infrastructure projects, developing accurate, competitive estimates and partnering closely with operations and project management from bid through project handoff.

You will evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost—not just perform takeoffs—and develop preliminary schedules, quantity takeoffs, and pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment, while reviewing subcontractor proposals

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Experience estimating water and wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete and/or heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of means, methods, sequencing and productivity.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs and contract documents.

Responsabilidades

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations and related infrastructure.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and price self-performed labor, materials and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals for coverage.
• Evaluate phasing, staging, logistics, constructability and sequencing.
• Develop preliminary schedules to support estimating efforts.
• Identify risks, opportunities, VE ideas, and cost-saving strategies.
• Participate in bid reviews with operations and project management.
• Prepare detailed project budgets and hand off to project teams.
• Support subcontractor and supplier buyout after award.
