Job summary

Arcadis in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer and Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects across central Virginia. This role will be based at our Richmond office and involves client-facing project leadership.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a PE license and Virginia licensure within 6 months, and a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering. Strong leadership and technical writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Professional Engineer license and Virginia licensure within 6 months.
• BS in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct water and wastewater projects as a client-facing project manager.
• Oversee planning, design, and construction administration per contracts and codes.
• Coordinate resources, schedule teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide design leadership, QA/QC review, and mentoring to staff.
• Lead marketing and proposal phases, including scope and budget development.
