ISG is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer in Saint Louis Park, MN to lead municipal and industrial water projects across the U.S. The role involves design, analysis, and field support within a full-service, employee-owned engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE), required.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design and drafting of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong command of water and wastewater engineering principles.
• Experience in team building and leadership is a plus.
• Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or contribute to evaluate, plan, and implement water, wastewater, and reuse system operations.
• Conduct treatment technology assessments using data analysis, mass balance calculations, modeling, bench and pilot testing.
• Diagnose existing system operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.
• Support long-range planning by assessing current systems and forecasting future capital and operational needs.
• Perform studies and analyses to identify optimal treatment solutions aligned with compliance and client goals.
• Design conceptual and detailed engineering plans and specifications for construction-ready solutions.
• Assist with construction, system start-up, troubleshooting, and operational support for new installations.
• Conduct field observations, inspections, and data collection to inform project decisions.
• Prepare permit submittals for water and wastewater projects; ensure regulatory compliance.
