Job summary

ARRO Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead diverse water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.

You will coordinate with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality and compliance. The role requires a PE license, a civil/environmental engineering degree (MS preferred), and 5–15 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 5–15 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Strong technical expertise in design, permitting, and construction administration of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects from planning through construction and closeout.
• Perform design, technical analysis, feasibility studies, and evaluations for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Prepare and review reports, calculations, specs, drawings, and project documentation.
• Develop construction cost estimates, schedules, and budget tracking.
• Coordinate permitting activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction observation.
• Serve as primary client contact and support business development.
• Mentor and supervise junior/mid-level staff.
