Zusammenfassung

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to strengthen our regional water team across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. This role centers on municipal wastewater treatment with responsibility for collection and conveyance projects, design leadership, and client coordination.

The successful candidate will lead technical tasks, manage scopes and budgets, mentor staff, and help expand regional wastewater capabilities while collaborating with leadership and clients

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical or related engineering.
• Typically, 10–15 years of progressively responsible wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license in at least one US jurisdiction, with ability to obtain licensure in NY, NJ, PA and MA.
• Ability to travel to clients and project sites throughout the region.

Aufgaben

• Lead wastewater treatment planning, process evaluations and facility designs.
• Develop design criteria, calculations, hydraulic profiles, mass balances, equipment sizing and facility layouts.
• Design and evaluate headworks, primary and biological treatment, nutrient removal, disinfection, biosolids management.
• Support sanitary sewer, force main, pump station and wet-weather management projects.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical quality assurance.
