We have an opening for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer based in Huntsville or Birmingham, AL, with flexibility for candidates in Montgomery or Auburn/Opelika areas, understanding travel to other markets will be required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in water modeling, treatment, wastewater treatment, and design of water mains, gravity sewer systems, booster stations, and sewer lift stations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
• 12+ years of experience in Water/Wastewater or Environmental Engineering
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software (EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWater) preferred
• Proficiency with Microstation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
