Job summary

TYLin's Water Sector seeks a Senior Engineer (Design) to help support the Potomac Interceptor Program for DC Water, with the field office in the DC Potomac Interceptor Project site three days per week.

The role leads sewer design teams, manages budgets and schedules, and coordinates with multiple consultants and contractors to deliver CIP projects under established contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing water and wastewater design projects.
• Experience overseeing development and implementation of design and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure.
• Program management experience including CIP planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• PE license required; must reciprocate in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Lead sewer engineering design and consulting teams for complex assignments.
• Develop work delivery plans to manage resources, budget, schedule, and client engagement.
• Manage multiple technical assignments to complete work to client satisfaction within contract requirements and budget.
• Review designs, bid packages, RFPs, and SOWs to support CIP implementation.
• Provide program management services including CIP planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating multiple consultants/contractors.
