Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to join our water/wastewater design team in Maryland. You will design facilities, perform calculations, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects for public and private clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, preparing reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff and delivering within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project Manager for successful project execution.
• Design water and wastewater facilities including pumping stations, storage facilities and treatment plants.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates and reports for various water and wastewater facility projects.
• Maintain accurate records of design calculations and reports; perform site assessments.
• Provide technical direction to junior engineers-in-training and BIM/CAD technicians.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Construction administration and engineering services as required.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams with other disciplines.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
