Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an engineer to design water and wastewater facilities, work with project managers, and supervise BIM/CAD activities. You will prepare calculations, drawings, and reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, an ABET-accredited degree, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. This on-site role involves collaboration across disciplines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Proficiency with BIM and CAD platforms (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Good communication and technical writing skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• PE eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project Manager for successful project execution.
• Design water and wastewater facilities including pumping stations, storage facilities and treatment plants.
• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates and reports.
• Maintain accurate records and perform site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Provide technical direction or supervision to junior staff and BIM/CAD technicians.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits.
• Construction administration and engineering services as required.
• Coordinate with clients, utility owners, project teams and subconsultants.
• Comply with KCI policies and complete tasks on time and within budget.
