Job summary

KCI Technologies in Sparks Corner, Maryland is seeking a Project Engineer focused on water and wastewater facility projects including pumping stations and treatment plants. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as five or more years of relevant project experience.

Responsibilities include designing facilities, preparing design calculations and specifications, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaboration with clients and project teams is essential for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project experience in engineering of water and wastewater facilities.
• Proven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, and scheduling engineering projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater facilities including treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain project budgets.

BIM and CAD design proficiency

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Project management

Ability to work on multiple projects

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or related field
