Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join our Arcadis Construction Services (ACS) team in North Carolina to support a large water/wastewater treatment expansion project. This position is based out of Clayton, North Carolina, although location is flexible.

You will lead construction activities, supervise subcontractors, ensure safety, manage schedules, and maintain project controls, with responsibility for budgets and documentation.

Qualifications

• 10 years of environmental construction management experience.
• Seasoned customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities with client/site personnel.
• Conduct inspections and supervise Arcadis subcontractors.
• Inspect major equipment deliveries for conformance.
• Foster communication among subcontractors, vendors and client.
• Monitor health and safety and lead progress meetings.
• Maintain weekly progress reports, field notes and cost forecasts.
• Manage schedules, budgets and document control.
• Support design teams with constructability reviews.
