HDR’s North Carolina Water Business Group seeks a Utility Management Consultant to guide project delivery for multi‑disciplinary water and wastewater initiatives. The role emphasizes client relationship building, leading technical teams, and delivering clear, practical analyses.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in engineering, business, or related fields, with 5+ years of experience and strong ArcGIS/Power BI/SQL Server skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Strong MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, Access, and Excel.
• Ability to obtain, cleanse, merge, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow‑up skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support multi‑disciplinary design projects in water/wastewater utilities.
• Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and align resources to deliver on time and within scope.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and participate in marketing and negotiations.
• Lead internal and external meetings, workshops, and technical discussions to drive progress.
