Qualifications

• Class 1B Water Treatment Operator Certificate or must be obtained within 1 year.
• City of Billings Certification within 4 years.
• Must wear an air-purifying respirator for 80% of the shift.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment and distribution systems using HMI/SCADA software.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, piping, and hydraulic systems.
• Calibrate monitoring and test equipment; maintain logs and reports.
• Dosing and mixing chemicals according to protocol; ensure safety with hazardous materials.
• Respond to emergencies and abnormal conditions; implement safety procedures.
