Sharyland Water Supply Corporation in Texas seeks a Chief Plant Operator to own treatment performance and regulatory compliance, ensuring finished water meets state and federal standards while leading plant operations staff.

You will optimize treatment processes, coordinate maintenance, oversee SCADA-based systems, manage MOR reporting, and contribute to budgeting, SOPs, and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with municipal water treatment systems.
• Knowledge of TAC/CFR regulatory reporting.
• Strong math and data analysis skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop plant operations staff.
• Optimize treatment processes using operational data.
• Coordinate maintenance with internal teams and external vendors/contractors.
• Oversee SCADA-based operations for pumps, clarifiers, chemical feed, storage, and chlorination.
• Manage required reporting (MOR) and recordkeeping.
• Support capital planning feedback, SOP development, budgeting, and safety/environmental programs.
