Job summary
OUC - The Reliable One in Orlando seeks a Senior Engineer Distribution (Water) to lead advanced planning, hydraulic analyses, and coordination across Water Production and Water Distribution teams for long-range system improvements.
You will supervise project/construction management, review plans for guideline compliance, prepare documentation for commissions, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring timely, cost-effective water system enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field from ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum eight years in Water or related engineering.
- Construction management and/or Fluid Mechanics experience.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Licenses/certifications within first year: MOT Intermediate; Florida PE or reciprocal.
Responsibilities
- Lead project and construction management for water distribution and transmission system improvements.
- Perform hydraulic analyses and long-range planning for production, transmission, and distribution networks.
- Review plans for compliance with OUC design guidelines and coordinate with Water Production & Water Distribution teams.
- Prepare commission documents, budgets, permits, and documentation for projects.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors and consultants.
