Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer focused on water infrastructure to lead design and analysis of treatment facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, and hydraulic structures. You will serve as the technical lead on multidisciplinary projects, ensuring codes compliance and guiding deliverables from rehabilitation to new facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with water/public infrastructure.
• Project management on Water Resources projects.
• Experience managing public-sector projects (state, county, city, and federal).
• Ability to lead, mentor and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client relationship development and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subconsultants and staff on a multi-disciplinary team.
• California SE license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Serve as the technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop structural calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Perform condition assessments and evaluate existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver integrated designs.
• Review and seal engineering deliverables for accuracy.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops.
• Provide construction-phase services including RFIs and site visits.
• Support business development through client relationships and proposals.
