Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior integrated water resources planner or engineer to join our Water Resources team in Houston, Texas. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in integrated planning for environmental projects.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of field experience, proficient communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field. Competitive compensation ranges from $100,000 to $195,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Experience with federal plan formulation requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium-to-large planning and environmental compliance projects for federal agencies.
• Prepare, plan, and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct the work of others to complete required studies, documents, and reports.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation and agency coordination experiences.

Skills

Leadership experience in water resource planning

Technical expertise in environmental impact issues

Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Excellent writing and communication skills

Problem-solving and research abilities

Education
