Job summary

HDR is looking for a senior integrated water resources planner or engineer to join their Water Resources team in Houston, Texas. This position involves directing projects related to water supply, flood risk management, coastal storm risk, environmental restoration, and navigation infrastructure.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, at least 10 years of relevant experience, and strengths in communication and problem-solving. HDR offers competitive compensation from $100,000 to $195,000 along with various benefits including health insurance and a retirement savings plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Technical and/or field experience dealing with environmental impact issues, associated permit processes, and documentation preparation/review.
• Self-starter attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium-to-large planning and environmental compliance projects for federal agencies.
• Prepare, plan, and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct the work of others to complete required studies, documents, and reports.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning, and programming experience.
• Perform other duties as needed to support project delivery.
