Job summary

Garver in Houston is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager/Lead to join our Water Team and collaborate with clients and design engineers on municipal and water projects. This role focuses on hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design, with responsibilities including project supervision, scheduling, cost estimates, subconsultant coordination, and client interaction.

A PE license and ABET‑accredited civil engineering degree with water resources emphasis are required, along with 7+ years of

Qualifications

Bachelors of Science in civil engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program with emphasis in water resources engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
7+ years of relevant consulting and design experience.
2+ years of engineering project management experience.
Advanced knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design.
Experience with HEC software such as HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS.
Experience with GIS software and application to H&H modeling, analysis, and design.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in consulting engineering with focus on hydrology and hydraulics projects.

Responsibilities

Lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design for municipal and Water clients.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary design engineers and manage projects.
Assist with marketing, subconsultant coordination, scheduling, plan production oversight, and cost estimates.
Interact with clients to ensure project success.
