Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of successful management of engineering projects.
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• 15 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification, AICP certification, and PMP certification are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project scope and fee quotation and assist in preparing technical proposals and contracts per HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
• Serve as the primary client liaison and manage the project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets to client satisfaction; lead client contract scoping and negotiations.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
• Implement the project delivery plan using SDA; develop and execute the project management plan; mentor and supervise team toward objectives.
• Oversee project staffing, recruitment, development, retention and performance reviews; support compensation planning.
• Collaborate with Client Service Leaders to build client relationships and pursue mega and super mega projects; lead proposal development and presentations to clients.
• May recruit, hire, develop and retain staff; develop staff reporting plans and participate in performance reviews and compensation discussions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
