The ideal candidate has 8+ years of progressive experience, strong technical judgment, and the ability to lead projects, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff. Essential duties include directing design of water resources projects, coordinating with CAD designers and GIS staff, and ensuring top-quality deliverables on schedule while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with focus in water resources.
• PE license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent software.
• Strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; familiarity with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and design of water resources and civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage and deliver projects from concept through final design and construction support.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and public agencies to build relationships.
• Collaborate with CAD designers, EITs, and GIS technicians to develop solutions.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff.
