Job summary
Buchart Horn is seeking a Senior Engineer/Project Manager in State College, PA to lead complex water and wastewater projects from planning through construction. The role emphasizes technical leadership, client liaison, and mentorship within a collaborative team.
The candidate should have an ABET-accredited civil/environmental/chemical engineering degree, a PE license, and substantial experience with water/wastewater infrastructure, design software, and project management.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited engineering degree required, civil/environmental/chemical.
- Licensed PE with strong water/wastewater experience.
- Experience leading complex water/wastewater projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with WaterGEMS/SewerGEMS/BioWin or similar.
- Ability to mentor EITs and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical development and delivery of water/wastewater projects.
- Mentor EITs, interns, and designers within the team.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and client communication.
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance.
- Review drawings, develop specs, and cost estimates.
