Job summary
Stantec is seeking a senior engineer and project manager to lead our Knoxville, Tennessee office and grow water/civil services in the Southeast. The role combines technical leadership on dams, flood protection, and water infrastructure with staff recruitment, mentoring, and business development.
You will supervise engineers, drive project delivery, and engage with clients while maintaining the high standards of Stantec’s Water Business Line.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar.
- Licensed Professional Engineer with reciprocity potential.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Develop project scopes, budgets and design for water resources and civil projects.
- Serve as Engineer-of-Record on projects.
- Recruit, onboard and mentor staff in Knoxville and Southeast Region.
- Coordinate with Business Center Leadership Team to drive growth and client engagements.
- Support proposals, client interviews and project negotiations.
