Job summary

LJB Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer in Dayton, Ohio to grow our water resources practice.

You will lead projects from concept through final design, permitting, and construction support, while mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of water resources experience, a PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation; GIS skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on water resources.
• PE license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant water resources engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept development through final design, permitting, and construction support.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget with high-quality deliverables.
• Interface with clients and agencies to build strong professional relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with CAD designers, EITs, and GIS technicians.
