My client is seeking a Senior Water Resources Technical Lead to join their growing team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with approximately 10-20 years of experience who enjoys leading complex technical projects across stream restoration, stormwater, dam safety, and floodplain management while mentoring junior staff and serving as a key technical resource.

The role offers significant flexibility, a strong project backlog, and the opportunity to work on impactful projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of stream restoration and watershed projects
• Design and review stormwater management (SWM) and BMP facilities
• Conduct dam inspections, O&M certifications, assessments, and rehabilitation design
• Perform floodplain modeling, floodproofing analyses, and H&H studies
