A highly respected engineering firm is expanding its water management team and seeking a motivated engineer who’s interested in a path toward a project engineering/management role with an emphasis on client interaction and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hydraulic analyses for water distribution systems using advanced modeling software.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data related to water use, population growth, water quality, and infrastructure conditions.
• Assess the availability and reliability of water supplies.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including reports, master plans, and technical memos.
• Support senior engineers and engage in business development efforts when appropriate.
• Accurately track time across various project tasks.

Qualifications:

• Required:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; experience in water system planning, hydraulic modeling, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Preferred:Master’s degree in a related field.
• Proven capability in managing multiple priorities, performing engineering calculations, and producing clear technical summaries.

• This position may include occasional travel, including overnight assignments.
• Staying current with industry standards and developments is encouraged through ongoing professional education and participation in professional societies.
