This position is remote, but candidates must be located in the Hampton Roads, VA area.

You will manage and perform engineering duties for water resources projects, primarily supporting municipal clients in Virginia.

What you'll do
  1. Manage water resources projects
  2. Provide technical leadership and assistance
  3. Develop and maintain client relationships
  4. Prepare proposals
  5. Mentor engineering staff
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with coursework in water resources (hydrology and hydraulics)
  • 10+ years of experience in water resources project management and execution
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS), preferably 2D SWMM
  • FEMA floodplain management experience
  • Knowledge of Virginia Dam Safety requirements and O&M certification
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS for mapping and data analysis
  • Experience managing contracts and task orders
  • Dependability, responsibility, good communication skills
  • Client service management experience
  • Experience working with Virginia municipalities
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to pass DMV check, insurable
