Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Laboratory Manager to oversee RIDOH certified water quality operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will supervise sample collection and analysis, maintain certification status, and coordinate reporting for regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in water quality laboratory operations.
• RI academic requirements for directors of certified labs.
• Knowledge of US EPA Safe Drinking Water Act and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proper and efficient operation of the water quality laboratory.
• Maintain the laboratory's certification status under NELAC.
• Participate in state audits and update SOPs.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies and CCRs.
• Analyze data, identify patterns, and advise operations on issues.
• Provide support for regulatory compliance and lab expansion plans.
