Job summary

Veolia seeks a lab operations supervisor to oversee RIDOH certified testing and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. You will prepare regulatory reports, manage certifications, and support operations with water quality data analysis and response to complex customer inquiries.

The role involves working with external agencies, coordinating lab schedules, and driving continuous improvements in testing procedures and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field required.
• 5-7 years of experience in water quality laboratory operations.
• RI academic requirements for directors of certified labs.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of water quality regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace and LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RIDOH certified laboratory operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain certification status for a nationally certified lab (NELAC).
• Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and CCRs.
• Analyze sample data, identify patterns, and assist operations with water quality issues.
• Provide data to Corporate Communications and support public relations.
