As a Senior Project Manager within HDR’s Water Business Group, you’ll lead the execution of complex, high-profile projects and mentor internal teams, shaping our technical and business approach across the water sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• MS Office and MS Project experience (Access would be a plus).
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of large, multi-disciplinary engineering projects and programs.
• Strategically oversee project execution, balancing scope, schedule, and budget to ensure outcomes.
• Cultivate and expand client relationships, participate in business development, proposal strategy, and contract negotiations.
• Direct and facilitate internal and external project meetings with alignment among teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Navigate regulatory environments, representing HDR in permitting discussions.
• Guide development of project documentation, analyses and engineering reports focusing on quality.
• Manage project financials—monitor budgets, forecast performance, allocate resources.
• Collaborate with project controllers, leadership, and finance to ensure transparency on financial goals.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to staff.
