Job summary

GHD in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction in the Central US.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain client relationships, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire within six months of hiring date.
• 10+ years of water/wastewater design experience in the Central US, preference Texas market.
• Significant experience in desalination plants, water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and pump stations.
• Experience coordinating multiple tasks with strong attention to detail, schedule and budget.
• Ability to present technical information clearly, both written and oral; strong technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory/permitting agencies including TCEQ and EPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in the development of facility and/or utility master plans.
• Lead the planning, design, and execution of wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and engineering documents.
• Oversee permitting processes and ensure environmental and safety compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and project staff.
• Lead proposal development for new business.
• Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients; support business development and marketing.
