Mesa Water District in Costa Mesa, CA, is hiring a Senior Operator - Production to serve as the district's water production system expert. The role performs complex operations, maintenance, testing, and repairs to ensure a continuous supply of potable water, leads staff, and supports SCADA systems.

The ideal candidate has four years of experience in water production and related equipment, holds SWRCB certifications, and can manage safety and documentation.

Formación

• Four years of experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of water production infrastructure.
• Education: Equivalent to twelfth grade with vocational training in water utility practices.
• Experience with SCADA systems and water production equipment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, oversee, and participate in complex work of staff operating water production facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, engines, valves, and related equipment.
• Monitor SCADA system and manage production setpoints.
• Prepare daily reports and data analyses of production activities.
• Respond to public inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Ensure safety and maintain compliance with policies.
