Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Water Team in Michigan. The role requires a licensed PE with a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree and 10–15 years of relevant experience.

You’ll work on large-scale water/wastewater projects, using process models and technical writing to develop design reports and construction plans. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, ability to work with teams, and a flexible hybrid-remote schedule after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 10–15 years of related experience.
• Experience with large-scale piping, valve, pumping systems, and treatment technologies.
• Strong writing, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning, design, and construction support for water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare calculations, run process models, and document analyses with clear memoranda.
• Create design reports and construction plans for plants and pump stations.
• Assist with specifications, permits, and scope/budget/schedule reviews.
• Monitor budgets/progress and document design changes.
• Attend client/staff meetings and support proposals.
