Job summary

LCRA is seeking a Senior Water Supply Planner to lead water planning and development initiatives that conserve and improve Colorado River basin supplies. You will apply deep expertise in water planning and stakeholder collaboration to craft strategies and innovative solutions.

As senior planner, you will administer the Water Management Plan, guide updates to the Long-Range Water Supply Resource Plan, and help shape future water supply projects with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in complex water supply planning or development projects.
• Degree in engineering, environmental sciences, hydrology or relevant field (substitutable per guidelines).

Responsibilities

• Manage highly complex planning and water supply development projects.
• Lead Region K water planning process leadership.
• Lead technical, regulatory, and public communications on complex studies.
• Prepare integrated watershed plans that optimize water supply and water quality solutions.
• Research new water supply technologies and their potential applications.
• Develop analytical tools and model potential strategies with LCRA staff.
