Job summary

Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead daily water and wastewater operations, oversee field staff, and ensure safe, compliant system performance across wells, pumps, and treatment processes.

You will direct maintenance, monitor SCADA controls, and coordinate with contractors while developing SOPs and safety programs to sustain reliable service for communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years in wastewater/water ops with increasing responsibilities.
• ADEQ Grade IV certification is required in Arizona.
• Ability to supervise field staff and coordinate maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of water and/or wastewater systems.
• Plan, assign and supervise field staff and trainings.
• Maintain SOPs and ensure safety standards across teams.
• Oversee SCADA operations and control panels; perform system checks.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital projects with vendors and contractors.
• Prepare performance metrics and budgetary inputs for operations.
