Job summary

Volarify is seeking a Lead Water Technician to head water damage mitigation and structural drying projects in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience and current IICRC certifications, with WRT strongly preferred, ASD certification preferred, and the ability to lead field crews.

The role involves hands-on assessment, drying plan development, moisture monitoring, equipment setup, and ensuring safety and quality per IICRC standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional water damage mitigation/restoration experience.
• Current IICRC certifications required, with WRT strongly preferred.
• IICRC ASD certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Restoration Standard.
• Experience with moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, hygrometers, and related drying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise water mitigation technicians and field crews.
• Assess water damage and determine mitigation and drying procedures.
• Develop and implement structural drying plans.
• Perform moisture inspections and daily monitoring.
• Set up and adjust air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Document project information and progress for reporting.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate updates.
