Job summary

Volarify is seeking a Lead Water Technician in Pittsburgh, PA, to guide water damage mitigation and structural drying projects for commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of hands-on experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of IICRC standards, including WRT/ASD where possible.

You will supervise field crews, develop drying plans, operate moisture meters and thermal cameras, document progress, and maintain safety and client communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional water damage mitigation/restoration experience.
• Current IICRC certifications; WRT strongly preferred, ASD preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Restoration Standard.
• Experience leading restoration crews and documenting projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise water mitigation technicians and field crews.
• Assess damage and determine required mitigation and drying procedures.
• Develop drying plans and monitor moisture mapping and equipment.
• Document projects with photos, sketches, moisture maps and reports.
• Ensure safety, PPE compliance, and clear client communication.
