Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Portland, OR, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure programs. You will direct multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client communications across projects from planning through construction.

The role requires PE licensure, 15+ years in water projects, and a track record of delivering complex facilities on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• 15+ years of water project experience.
• Experience delivering and managing water treatment, water transmission/distribution, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning projects.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer.
• Experience in design and construction phase with budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred).
• Design and construction phase experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manages the successful execution of water and wastewater utility projects.
• Advises clients through project life cycle to meet budget, schedule, and quality goals.
• Leads project teams in planning, design, construction, and commissioning of projects.
• Supervises and coordinates staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others.
• Prepares reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintains a culture of effective communication among project teams, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Partners with local business development teams to identify project opportunities and assist with proposals.
