Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Technical Manager, Water Infrastructure in the United States to lead the design of municipal and industrial water systems, oversee contract documentation, and guide project teams from concept through construction. Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience in water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure design, including gravity and pressure pipelines and rehab using trenchless technologies.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and local environmental regulations for municipal/industrial clients.
• Knowledge of major national/industrial design codes, standards and best practices for complex structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical linear infrastructure designs and preparation of contract documents for municipal and industrial clients.
• Develop design concepts, criteria, analysis approaches, and constructability reviews.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering reports, and construction plans for medium/high complexity projects with QA/QC and value engineering reviews.
• Perform bid phase and construction phase services.
• Support business development, proposals, estimating and planning.
• Coordinate and mentor technical staff and project teams with other Project Managers.
• Engage in technical societies to stay current with standards and emerging technologies.
