Job summary

Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive quality assurance and control across large-scale civil projects in water and wastewater.

You will review reports, drawings, and specifications, and lead design concept reviews for complex systems. You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships at decision-making levels, and support proposals while staying current with AWWA/ASCE/ASTM standards.

Qualifications

• Requires PE licensure for professional practice.
• 10+ years of experience with large-diameter water and wastewater pipelines.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and client management.
• Experience reviewing reports, drawings, and specs for QC/QA.

Responsibilities

• Conducts QA/QC activities reviewing project reports, drawings, and specs.
• Leads design conceptual reviews for complex projects.
• Guides clients and supports Project Managers and Principals.
• Contributes to pursuits including proposals and statements of qualifications.
• Mentors staff to execute final design and project closeout.
