Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Manager/Resident Engineer to lead CM teams on large water resources projects across California and the West Coast, with location flexibility in Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento or Seattle.

You will supervise on-site construction activities, perform constructability reviews with design teams, manage Quality Control and Safety Plans, and coordinate with clients, regulators and contractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 15-25 years of related professional experience.
• Water resources project experience on California or West Coast agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM teams on large water-related construction projects (costs up to $100M+).
• Mentor and manage CM staff during project execution.
• Develop and implement Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety Plans.
• Coordinate with Client, Designer, Contractor and Regulators to resolve issues.
