Carollo Engineers, a premier water-focused engineering firm in California, seeks an experienced professional with 10+ years in wastewater and reuse design. You will lead engineering work on multiple client projects, ensure technical quality, and supervise staff across teams.

Applicants should hold a CA PE license and demonstrate strong communication with clients and project teams. This role emphasizes independent decision-making, budget and schedule control, and business development support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in California.
• 10+ years of professional experience (excluding advanced degree).
• Wastewater and reuse design experience in environmental consulting with hydraulics and treatment processes.
• Familiar with master planning, conveyance, and treatment plant design.
• Strong communication with clients and project teams.
• Self-motivated, articulate, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manages and conducts engineering work on wastewater and reuse projects for multiple clients.
• Prepares and delivers technical evaluations, reports and deliverables.
• Supervise staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others on assignments.
• Make authoritative technical decisions and manage budgets and schedules.
• Develop client relationships and participate in proposals and contracts.
