Job summary

McCormick Taylor, Inc. seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer in Harrisburg, PA to lead and supervise complex stormwater management and roadway drainage projects. You will collaborate with design teams, regulators, and clients while mentoring junior staff and contributing to technical and cost proposals.

Applicants should have 10+ years in hydrology/hydraulics, a PA PE license, and experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics engineering, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design.
• BS degree in civil engineering, or closely related.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
• DOT Stormwater design and permitting experience preferred.
• Proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic calculation methods.
• Experience using MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drainage and stormwater management designs and plans.
• Collaborate with our design team, environmental staff and regulatory agencies to support the delivery and permitting for various projects
• Provide mentoring and oversight to junior staff
• Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies
• Active involvement with the development of technical and cost proposals
• Assign tasks to, coordinates work, and mentors supporting staff
• Provide QA/QC of work for technical accuracy
